The CAWLB owns and has the responsibility to maintain the following properties: the Boat Ramp on the Canal which provides boat access to Lake Brantley, the Beach Park on the Lake with pavilion and beach, and the first 400 feet of Canal at the mouth of the Canal at Lake Brantley.
By becoming a member and getting a key and placard you must agree to follow the rules (presented below), as well as the CAWLB bylaws.
For the safety of all members failure to observe the rules along with following the bylaws may result in revocation of member privileges and key surrendered to the Board.
Beach Park and Boat Ramp Rules
A key and placard are issued to a paid member of the Association and is only to be used by a member. Please display your placard prominently on your vehicle dash when at the Beach Park or Boat Ramp.
Members are responsible for their guests and must always be present with their guests.
Beach Park pavilion can be reserved by members only. If you would like to have an event you can reserve the pavilion signing up online at mycawlb.org. A $35 non-refundable fee is required to reserve the pavilion.
The beach park is a community area and will remain accessible by other members even if you reserve the pavilion.
Beach Park and Boat Ramp open at sunrise and close at sunset.
No overnight parking. Any vehicle, boat and/or trailer left overnight will be towed at the owner's expense and without notice.
Please be respectful of the park's neighbors and do not park on their property.
No pets allowed on premises.
No alcohol allowed on premises.
Please clean up after yourself and guests. Be a good neighbor. All trash must be removed from the premises. Trash service is not provided.
There is no lifeguard on duty, user assumes all risks. Be safe and do not leave children unattended. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
No watercraft may enter the beach or swim area at any time.
Please keep the area secure. Gate is always to remain secure.
Inflatable water slides, bounce houses, and other amusement devices are not permitted at the Beach Park or the Boat Ramp properties.
Additional Rules Specific to Boat Ramp
Pets are allowed only at the boat ramp for purposes of transferring them to the watercraft. Please clean up after them.
No trailers allowed without a vehicle connected and current placard displayed prominently on vehicle dash.
No wake will be created by any watercraft in the canal. The speed limit is designated as an idle zone.
There are 7 parking spots available for vehicles and connected trailers. Any vehicle blocking the traffic area will be towed at the owner's expense and without notice.
Vehicles without a placard may result in vehicle being towed at the owner's expense and without notice.
